Laroche on “Build a Family”: “I wanted a song about love and starting a future together. I also wanted an upbeat Motown sound that gives you that feeling of endless possibilities. [My Ex-Fiancee and I] had different backgrounds/cultures and we were very excited to combine and build our own family. Thus 'Build a Family' was born.”
Featuring talented artists Tempo & Gizzle, this track has that upbeat summer vibe.
Tempo, an ASCAP Television Music Award winning songwriter & SAG/AFTRA singer from Los Angeles CA, has worked with artists such as J.Lo, Robin Thicke, Nelly, Cee Lo, Brandy and more.
Gizzle, an accomplished artist and songwriter from Los Angeles, has been writing songs as a way of expressing herself since she was 16 years old. She is a pioneer in the industry and has been featured on the albums of artists such as Teddy Riley, Puff Daddy, Pharrell, Timbaland, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Meek Mill, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Ty$, YG, Iggy Azalea, Hit-Boy, Kid Ink, and many others.
Laroche, a reluctant producer/songwriter, used music as an outlet to deal with his confusion and pain in a tumultuous time in his relationship. He is an intensely private person who decided to share his experience in the hopes of healing his heartbreak. The culmination of his healing is the release of his debut LP Lost Love this year. Laroche is Holm's first artist.
Holm (pronounced “Home”) is a welcoming community of artists. Its purpose is to provide a familiar place for artists to come together, while at the same time encouraging and supporting those who push their own boundaries. Holm is music for the soul.
Lost Love, told as a collective story, is Laroche's chronicle of a love gone wrong detailing a passionate relationship that would ultimately be shaken by betrayal. Each track tells a part of a story, and the songs as a collection illustrate the struggles and feelings of both sides of love. Laroche's debut project Lost Love is sure to peak the interest of music lovers as he eloquently tells the stories of how both love and heartbreak can be the perfect muses.

Ronald Diez (born April 4, 1991), better known by his stage name Ronnie Diez, is an American Pop recording artist, songwriter, and actor. Ronnie is a New Jersey native but brought his talents to Los Angeles straight out of high school in late 2009. His face was first introduced to us by way of a few commercials that ran nationally, however, since then, Ronnie has put his all into becoming the next mega sensation of pop culture.
Throughout life, most people are on a journey to find love and long for the idea of "the perfect" soul mate. However, there is a small group of us that put our dreams before other people’s feelings, and can be very selfish with our time.
Maybe we like to be alone and broken. We can have someone anchoring us down giving us their all, but we rather spend most of our time chasing after almost the impossible, and the ones we know will ultimately break our hearts. Who knows what the reason is, but we have dreams and just won't settle.
This song expresses Ronnie’s sympathy toward all the hearts he had to leave behind, but also let's’ make them know that they are not the only ones alone. In ‘My Apologies’ people will see my sensitive side, which I tend to often mask. However, it allows me to show that I never intended on being cold and distant, the timing wasn't just right in life.’ Said Ronnie.

Straight out the FEDS, a group of women have united to produce hip-hop music. These courageous females call themselves "The Pink Panther Clique." Three of the five members of the music group were sentenced to serve decade plus terms in federal prison for non-violent crimes. Motivated to create awareness about the epidemic of women & mass incarceration, these women have utilized hip-hop music as a means to tell their stories. "The Pink Panther Clique" is apart of the WomenOverIncarcerated movement, spearheaded by Jamila T. Davis, a 39 year old, federal prisoner, who is also a member of the group. After being sentenced in 2008 to serve 12 1/2 years behind bars for bank fraud, Davis has become an active prison reform activist.
While incarcerated she's written over a dozen books, co-founded a non-profit organization, produced several films, including the upcoming reality show "Left Behind," and jump started a nationally circulated magazine, all to create awareness for the cause. Her latest endeavor is hip-hop music from behind bars, with the production of the "Pink Panther Clique Music" EP. The hip-hop EP features veteran rapper Sonja Holder aka Sonja Blade (@therealsonjablade), who is serving a 50 month sentence for drug and money laundering charges, Aisha Hall (@therealaishahall), a rapper, best selling author and screen writer serving a 10 1/2 year sentence for wire fraud, Felicia Holt (music_is_life_2011), a singer/rapper serving a 45 month sentence for drug charges, Catherine Johnson, a music producer and singer serving a 12 1/2 year sentence for drug charges, along with Jamila T. Davis, who is also a rapper. "The Pink Panther Clique Music" EP is scheduled for release in July. It is accompanied with the upcoming urban-fiction book series "The Pink Panther Clique," loosely based on the women's stories. It is written in collaboration with New York Times Best Selling Author, Wahida Clark (@wahidaclark), Aisha Hall (@therealaishahall), Sunshine Smith-Williams (@sunnymoneyqueens) and Jamila T. Davis (@jamilatdavis). Through hip-hop music and the creative arts, these women are committed to turning their pain into purpose and recapturing their dreams!
Recording artist “S-Shata” born Elreth A. Thomas, recognized his talents and passion to pursue music from early childhood. Hailing from St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands and Tortola, British Virgin Islands, music was the umbilical cord of his upbringing and island community. His optimism, determination and love for family nurtured his musical talents and propelled his musical endeavors and life ambitions.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Bob Marley, Beenie Man, LL Cool J,Run DMC and the intrepid Nick “Daddy” Friday from St. Thomas’ awesome Jam Band, S-Shata’s cultural heritage is undoubtedly a huge influence on his sound and lyrical abyss. His style and distinct sound resonating energizing “feel good” island vibes is exhibited in his collaboration with French Montana on the Dupree produced track “Top Back & Faded“. The track originally released in 2015, was recently rereleased digitally with an accompanying audio video component. S-Shata’s previously released tracks “Dope Music” and “Get Up & Dance” highlight and expand on his diverse range as a rap artist.
Infusing his island swag and rhymes with his embracing of other musical genres like pop has further allowed universal growth of his artistry. He recalls growing up on St. Thomas and his experiences witnessing the impact of music on his island and the globe. It awakened his universal outlook of music’s magnitude and its ability to transcend race, culture and religion. It is the driving force of his dedication, tenacity and underscores the effect he intends to impart on his listening audience. His creativity and uniquely melodic sound is infectious. He firmly believes in the importance of family and community. He has devoted much of his time outside his music career to efforts of the British Virgin Islands Cancer Society in his native Tortola, BVI. He has also been a beacon in his NY community giving back as a sponsor of the Central Islip Soccer Club. His intrigue with sneakers and men’s shoes led to a collaboration on a S. Hues sneaker design with notable Harper’s Bazaar Power List shoe designer Stella Hues. His mantra, “What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger” empowers him to maintain focus on his career goals while expanding his musical works, notoriety and fan base.
